A classic morning after hangover cure, the Corpse Reviver No. 2 is one of Matt’s favorite cocktails. It’s made with gin, absinthe, lemon juice, Lillet, and Countreau. Be sure to watch after this credits because this episode is overflowing with outtakes.
Earlier this year we shot a “test live” episode at the ballpark in St Louis. It’d be a shame to not share it with you all, so here it is in all its glory. Features special guest Kara making her favorite Tequila Sunrise.
When Matt has Jake behind the bar there are more outtakes than usual. Enjoy more sillies from the Melon Baller episode.
“Jake from Jake Bakes” is behind the bar again to show Matt a favorite summer cocktail, the Melon Baller. It’s a variation on the classic Melon Ball using gin, grapefruit juice, and melon liqueur. It’s super simple, and super delicious, so let’s get in the kitchen and let’s get shaking.
Matt’s here with a new spin on an old summer favorite: a green tea mint julep. He first encountered this recipe from Twinings Tea during Disney’s Flower & Garden Festival and couldn’t wait to make one of his own at the Cocktail Moment bar. It features bourbon, green tea, blackberry puree, lime juice, as well as raspberry and mint syrups.
https://youtu.be/Urh3nns0jU0Matt’s got his tall, inexperienced friend Chase behind the bar to make a classic favorite: The Aviation. It’s got gin, lemon juice, and maraschino liqueur and is made in just a few shakes. A tasty cocktail to continue our Cocktail Summer Extravaganza! Our apologizes, the Guest credited in this episode is James Pence who was in our Bar PM episode a few weeks ago. Matt’s ACTUAL guest is Chase Mosley. Sorry for any confusion. Copy/paste is a convenient, but sometimes problematic tool.
Matt’s back and just in time for a fun, patriotic Fourth of July cocktail: the Freedom Slushie.
Guest host Joey is behind the bar with a special Pride cocktail, the LGBT. It’s simple and delicious and perfect for the Cocktail Moment Summer.
We’re on location at Bar PM in South City St Louis with one of the owners, James Pence. He shakes up and stirs up a couple of bar classics for Matt: a lime margarita and a Manhattan.
